SERVICES

TESTING
The Hub provides safe, confidential, and quick testing services. We offer free HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Trichomoniasis testing. There is no need to make an appointment; just drop in!

PrEP CLINIC
PrEP is a daily pill for people who do not have HIV and are looking to stay HIV-negative. When taken as prescribed, PrEP reduces the risk of infection by up to 99% from sex and up to 70% for people who inject drugs.

REFERRAL TO CARE
Our overall goal is to help identify those who are living with HIV (who may be unaware) and link them to care.

ABOUT
El Centro / The HUB is a Prevention department entity at AIDS Alabama, Inc.; it is an affirming space welcoming those of varying walks of life interested in learning more about their sexual health. All education, community outreach, programs, and social events are focused heavily on reducing/eliminating the stigma surrounding sexual orientation and/or serostatus. Services provided in the space include:

Transportation/navigational services for medical appointments

If you are in need of business attire for your 1st interview or if you're simply in need of any clothing, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please come by anytime, there is no need for an appointment.

Living Well
Health Clinic
At the Living Well Health Clinic, we provide:

STI (sexually transmitted infections) testing and treatment

Hepatitis C testing

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) and HIV prevention counseling

HIV testing and treatment.
Because there is a great need in the community, we are focusing on expanding to provide full medical services in the near future!
AIDS ALABAMA
El Centro/The Hub is an AIDS Alabama PrEP clinic and community center for people living with HIV/AIDS and anyone else who would like to come.

El Centro/The Hub is open to anyone and everyone who wants to come, no matter their identity, orientation, HIV status, racial or ethnic background.
